The Police Service Commission (PSC) and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) are starting recruitment for 50,000 Police Constables.
This is part of a directive from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Qualifications:
General Duty: Must have SSCE/NECO or equivalent with at least 5 credits, including English and Math, in no more than two sittings.
Specialists: Must have SSCE/NECO or equivalent with at least 4 credits, including English and Math, plus 3 years’ experience and relevant trade tests.
Eligibility:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Age 18–25 for General Duty, 18–28 for Specialists
- Medically, physically, and mentally fit
- Minimum height: 1.67m (male), 1.64m (female) for General Duty
- Must meet other requirements on the recruitment portal
