A former state governor, Ayodele Fayose, has strongly criticized a former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.
This happened just two days after the two men seemed to have made peace.

At a birthday party for Fayose last Saturday, Obasanjo spoke about their past disagreements.
He said Fayose had sent other people to ask for peace instead of coming himself.
Obasanjo also said he told Fayose and his wife that they had behaved badly, and the wife apologized. He then said he had forgiven Fayose.
Fayose stayed calm during Obasanjo’s speech at the party.
However, 48 hours later, Fayose sent a rude “thank you” message to Obasanjo. In the message, he called the former president “irresponsible” and used other insults.
He also asked for his money back, referring to a gift that was brought to the event.
Obasanjo replied briefly, saying the message showed Fayose’s true character.
He also said he had returned the money in the same, unopened bag it was delivered in.
