Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has instructed that his body be buried within four weeks of his death, placing the responsibility entirely on the Ekiti State Government.
In a six-minute video shared on YouTube by City Edge TV on Saturday, Fayose, who celebrates his 65th birthday today, outlined detailed instructions for his burial.

He emphasized that no visitors should be allowed after he is laid to rest.
“Death is inevitable. My body belongs to the Ekiti State Government,” Fayose said, noting that the government should manage all arrangements at the time of his passing.
“Whether it is 15, 20, or 30 years from now, the state government takes responsibility, and I must be buried within four weeks. This allows them time to prepare properly.”
He also instructed his children to wear their own clothes and fully comply with the directives of the government when the time comes.
