A report by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has revealed that Israel has killed more than 66,000 Palestinians in Gaza over the past two years of fighting, which began on October 8, 2023.
According to the report, about 2 million people out of Gaza’s 2.1 million population have been forced to flee their homes due to continuous air and ground attacks by Israel, which have destroyed 90% of buildings in the area.

The Hamas Ministry of Health said 169,000 people have been injured, and about 80% of those killed are civilians, mostly women and children.
The report also said more than 1,000 health workers and 255 journalists have died, while 38 hospitals and 96 health centers have been destroyed, along with 197 ambulances that were burned.
International organizations, including the United Nations, believe the real death toll may be even higher.
The war began after a Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, which killed more than 60 Israeli soldiers. Since then, Israel has carried out relentless air and ground bombardments, turning Gaza into a zone of fear, hunger, and daily loss of life.
