Ned Nwoko Says Regina’s Brother Introduced Her to Drugs

Senator Ned Nwoko has accused some of his wife Regina Daniels’ siblings of introducing her to drug abuse and frustrating her recovery.

The senator, who has recently been in the news over problems in his marriage, made the claim while responding to several allegations made against him.

After the arrest of Regina’s brother, Sammy West, her family accused Ned of using his political power to go after them. But in a long post on social media, Ned shared his own side of the story.

He said Regina began rehabilitation after he noticed worrying changes in her behavior caused by her dependence on drugs.

“When Regina started rehab, doctors told us clearly to keep away people who enabled her addiction. But her siblings — Sammy, Destiny, and some friends like Sonia Uche Montana — ignored the rules. They often forced their way into the house and brought her the same drugs she was being treated for,” Ned said.

According to him, instead of helping Regina recover, her siblings made things worse and disrupted her treatment.

“Sammy and Lawrence were the ones who first introduced Regina to drugs. They, along with their friends, also took the same substances. I don’t drink or smoke — I’m even a vegetarian — so I found their behavior unacceptable,” he added.

Ned also recounted a recent incident where he found Regina high in his room at 4 a.m. He said she told him Sammy’s girlfriend was in her room, which made him angry because the girl was one of those who supplied drugs to Regina.

“I asked that she be sent out of the house, and my driver dropped her off. But 30 minutes later, Sammy came shouting outside my house, demanding that I face him. He insulted and threatened me until I told security to remove him,” Ned said.

He added that Sammy and his friends often insulted and threatened police officers assigned to protect the house and restrict access for Regina’s safety.

Ned further claimed that whenever Regina wanted to go out and he wasn’t around, she would become angry and abusive toward police and staff, insisting on leaving no matter what.
