Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has dismissed all the lawyers handling his case.
During the court hearing on Thursday, Kanu told the judge that he was ready to defend himself without any lawyer.

Following his decision, all the senior lawyers on his team, led by Kanu Agabi (SAN), announced that they would no longer take part in the case.
Kanu then spoke directly to the court from the dock, arguing that the court had no right to continue his trial.
