No Politician Can Challenge Tinubu in 2027 – Presidency

The Presidency has said that no politician in Nigeria can challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to the President on Public Communication, made the statement on Tuesday in Abuja during a meeting with over 100 groups that support Tinubu.

The event, titled “A Conversation with the Presidential Spokesperson,” was organized to strengthen the relationship between the Presidency and Tinubu’s supporters ahead of the 2027 elections.

Bwala said the meeting aimed to thank the groups for their support and to encourage them to continue their work.

“We are here to appreciate the groups that have been supporting the president for their hard work and to urge them to keep it up out of love for the country and for President Tinubu,” he said.

According to Bwala, the president’s policies and reforms in the last two years have boosted public confidence in the economy and governance, making it difficult for anyone to defeat him in 2027.

“There is no politician today who can challenge President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are moving from ‘new hope’ to ‘renewed strength,’ and this change must be seen in the lives of ordinary Nigerians,” he said.

He explained that the meeting brought together leaders of support groups from all six geopolitical zones, including some participants from the United Kingdom.

Bwala clarified that the gathering was not a campaign event but an opportunity to build stronger ties between the government and its partners.

“Some people wait until election season before reaching out to groups, but that’s wrong. These groups are not tools; they are partners who must be part of the government’s efforts,” he said.

He added that similar meetings would be held in the UK, USA, and Canada to engage Nigerians abroad and share information about the Tinubu administration’s achievements.

Bwala also announced that the Presidency is planning a major national dialogue in November where all support groups will meet to review their strategies and assess government performance.

He noted that the government’s economic reforms are beginning to show results in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, infrastructure, and job creation.

“We have started seeing results. As we continue working, we will see more progress in the economy, security, education, and agriculture. These groups will help share this message,” he said.

Former lawmaker Hon. Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma, who also attended the event, praised President Tinubu’s leadership.

“Whether people like it or not, the president will win again in 2027. We may not have reached our full goals yet, but we are moving forward. The president is doing all he can to bring progress,” he said.

Agbonayinma also commended the removal of fuel subsidy, saying it has allowed states to access more funds for development projects.

Speakers at the event called on Tinubu’s supporters to keep promoting government policies and unity across regions and political parties.

Bwala concluded by urging supporters to continue showing loyalty and love to the president.

“President Tinubu deserves not only public support but also love and commitment to continue what his government has started,” he said.
