PENGASSAN Suspends Strike, Cautions Dangote Refinery

The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has called off its three-day strike against Dangote Refinery.

The decision was announced at a press briefing where the union also warned Dangote Refinery not to go back on the agreement reached during a long meeting held at the Office of the National Security Adviser.

PENGASSAN President, Festus Osifo, said the union will not tolerate any breach of the deal by the company.

The dispute started after some Dangote Refinery employees joined the union, leading to tensions between both sides.
