Taraba State governor, Agbu Kefas, visited President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa on Monday.
This was his first visit since he left the PDP and joined the APC.
Kefas arrived around 2 pm with the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and went straight into a closed-door meeting with the President.
His visit comes about two weeks after he dumped the PDP, a move that has shaken Taraba politics and strengthened the APC’s efforts in the North-East and Middle Belt ahead of 2027.
Kefas was earlier supposed to attend a formal APC welcome event on November 19 but postponed it, saying it would be “insensitive” while the nation was mourning the abduction of schoolgirls in Maga, Kebbi State.
