Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
His spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, said in a statement on Monday night that Adeleke resigned on November 4, 2025.

The resignation letter was sent to the PDP Ward 2 Chairman in Ede North.
Adeleke said he left the party because of the ongoing crisis in its national leadership.
He thanked the PDP for giving him the chance to serve as a senator and as governor.
There are reports that he may join the Accord Party ahead of the 2026 Osun governorship election, as the PDP continues to face internal problems.
